Dieting/exercise lose weight then gain?
Hopefully someone can give me some insight. I'm trying to lose 25 pounds started at 170 and would like to get to 145 I'm 5'8" . I've never been a completely unhealthy eater, but I've cut my caloric intake to 1200 day of lean proteins, veggies, and no alcohol that was hard . In addition, I've been exercising about 45 60 minutes 5 days each week walking, elliptical, treadmill, yoga, pilates I mix it up. I've been doing this about 4 weeks now. The first 2.5 weeks I got down to 163...now I'm back up to 168 What's going on?? I use fitday.com to track my intake and am very honest about it I don't grab a cookie or mouthful of food here and there, I'm very disciplined so I know my calories are on track. I've been doing some minor strength exercises crunches, arms, lunges, etc to tone, but I don't think this is from gaining muscle. Or is it? Any insight you could provide me would be appreciated this is so frustrating My sister's wedding is in June and I really want to be down to 145. I have an athletic frame and anything much less looks sickly, but at this point I don't think I will ever get there I was so excited to lose 7 pounds so quickly, but now I'm worried b c the numbers are creeping back up
Can an obese person who eats semi healthy with no exercise lose weight?
I know this person who eats frozen meals healthy choice, lean cuisine,etc everyday. They add salt to it when it already has 800 mg of sodium. they ass salt to everything. They " claim" to be trying to lose weight but they never exercise. i was wondering if it was in any way possible for them to lose anything.this person is about 5'2 350 pounds african american female early 40's with extremely bad knees. there are no underlying health conditions and the have high blood pressure.
How can picky eaters who hate to exercise lose weight?
my friend is a little on the chubby side, but she is like the pickiest eater on the planet, and she refuses to exercise i am sooo tired of hearing her complain about her weight. advice?

combined with eating properly how can an obese person lose weight with at home DVD's, etc. how about trying something like pilates or yoga? is that too hard?

The thing is, I'm naturally really skinny. Ever since I was little, I'm been a little toothpick. But I started taking medicine for my OCD, and one of the side effects was massive weight gain. Eating a lot, light exercise, losing weight rapidly, feel like fainting?
Hi, I am 18 years old and have always been slim and fit. However, I have recently began to lose weight, over ten pounds in a couple of months. I have reduced my exercise to half of what I used to do and have maintained a nutrient filled diet. I have been eating a lot, around 2500 calories daily. I also often feel lightheaded when I stand up or walk somewhere, and everything goes black for a few seconds. Any ideas why this may be?

what's a good exercise or diet to reduce weight?i'm a guy who's turning 18 this year, i'm 5'6" and 195 lbs. and i think i'm overweight right?can anyone suggest a good exercise or diet that doesn't involves going to gyms or fitness club and taking pills or something??i just want a normal diet or a good exercise routine that will surely help me. I don't look that fat though,i'm just kinda chubby, but i want my stomach belly, arms biceps, thighs legs to be smaller or thinner if you know what i mean right?.thanks for the help.right now, i'm just doing drinking 2 cups of water before mealsit ups and push ups..do you think those will help?
Exercise - losing weight help?
summer starts on the 23rd of july, by then i'd like to get down to size 12 im a 16 i weigh just over 13 stone im 14 years old just under 5" 5 on the 30th of june we'll be receiving an exercise bike, until then what type of things, other than sit ups i already do them could i do? ive already sorted out my diet, cutting out all the junk and fat etc.i really want to lose this weight so i can enjoy my summer, so i can wear shorts and bikinis etc. also it'll boost my self confidence as it's very low thanks in advance
Exercises .. Losing weight ..?
So, I finally got a gym membership. I've tried to look for exercises I could do online, but I'm quite new and not sure what I would need to do.I am a slightly on the heavy side, so I don't really want to state my weight, but I do want to lose as much weight as I can in a healthy way by the middle of April 09.So far I have cut out fast food, soda, and sweets from my diet. I've been really good about making sure my calorie intake is 1500. I go to the gym 3 times a week, and I usually do around 30 minutes of walking speed walking, stretches, sit ups, and swim laps.I need tips and suggestions on what I can do at the gym and away from the gym to help me get to my goal of losing weight in a healthy way by April 2009.Thanks. Hey Im 5'5" , 150 pounds, and 20 % body fat.Im looking to have a nice toned body. The question is Should I just be trying to lose weight right now, andworry about toning later?I am watching what I eat and running everyday, should I start working out and hitting up the gym? Or should I try and lose the weight first? most of the weight is on my stomach and chest Also, I take whey after I run? Is that a good or bad idea?

okay, so heres the deal, I want to lose 10 pounds and firm tone up a little by may.right now im 17, 5'4" and 124 pounds...im pretty okay with myself in general, but not in a bikini, lol.i already work out, 3, 4, or 5 times a week, and pretty intensly...not superwoman but like, running 2 or so miles...ellipticalling, biking, stuff like that.i eat pretty healthy...im a vegetarian so i eat lots of fruits and vegetables...i rarely eat fast food...tho i do enjoy the occasional cookie, dessert...stuff like that, lol. what can i do to get in shape by May? what about diet? i dont want to diet because i enjoy food too much...thanks

i've been trying to lose some baby fat and have been working out eating less for a few weeks now. i still weigh the exact same, though, and my waist and thighs are the same circumfrence they were when i started. how long should it be before i start seeing results?
Can exercise/losing weight improve breasts?
This may seem silly but if someone loses weight and tones up their body, will the shape of the breasts improve become firmer, or would the opposite occur? I'm not talking about size, but firmness. Thanks.
