Irregular periods and weight loss?
I've had irregular periods for a few years now. I skip 2 3 months and when I do get my period it lasts for about a month. I'm trying to lose weight at the moment but I know that your body retains water during your period. I've read that women usually skip their weekly weigh in during their period and see double their average weight loss the next week once it's over. Since my period lasts a month, should I skip my weigh ins until it's over? Will this long period effect my weight? Should I change my exercise routine and diet while on it? Any tips will be very helpful.
Is weight loss harder when on your period?
I heard that you dont lose much weight during your period, why is that? And is it true? Because I havent lost any weight this week and I just got off my period. I'm 19, female, 5'7, and starting weight was 258 and am now 238 so I dont think its a plateau lol

Okay, so I'm pretty hefty. 5'1" short I know 15 year old and I weigh 198 lbs. I've been in cross country for the first semester of the school year. Now, I'm in middle distance track. I'm the fattest person, it's so embarrassing and I'm so slow and I can't keep up or do the whole workout with the rest of the team. I'm seriously trying to lose weight but I've only lost 10 pounds and I gained it back after injury causing me not to run for 7 weeks . I'm trying to lose 60 70 lbs of fat and gain muscle and have a six pack.diets and cutting down are really hard for me because there are so many temptations .... I'm tired of being made fun of and looking gross. I want to be that super macho dude that can take off his shirt and show off his six pack when running.Oh, and I have no access to gym equipment. Just me and my room...I really need motivation... f you have any stories , it'd be awesome to hear them thanks
I need help with my weight loss...?
Ive been working out for about two months 3 4 times a week, usually running because I'm trying to slowly train up into joining the track team and start running marathons. Of course I'm looking to lose weight, too, though.I'm seventeen, and 200 pounds with Hypothyroid which should be regulated by now . I've actually gained about 7 since I started working out I was 190 a few months ago.I don't understand why. I've been eating between 1400 1800 calories and I try to keep it balanced, but as most people, I cheat here and there, but not enough to gain that amount of weight, especially with working out. I've eaten more junk without working out and maintained my weight, so cutting most of it and adding 3 4 work outs a week which vary from a half hour to an hour, but I usually jog briskly walk for two miles I can't comprehend how that equals me gaining seven pounds.And yes, I've heard that it must be muscle weight, thing is, my measurements are the same, my clothes fit pretty much the same, and I haven't gotten any comments about my weight loss which I usually do. What's going on here? I'm so discouraged Could it be that I'm gaining muscle faster than I'm losing fat? I feel as though at this point in my journey I am gaining muscle, but I just haven't lost any of the fat quite yet, equaling me gaining weight and looking the same. Is that plausible? Please help Oh, and I'm 5 foot 6 if that effects anything.
If I run 2 miles per day, how long after will I see weight loss results?
I'm a 16 year old female, i weigh 144 lbs and I'm 5'5 tall.All my life, I've been dieting trying to be skinny and it never works the way it should.I've been on fast result and gross diets but gained everything back eventually..Now I realized I'll just have to be patient and lose my weight slowly and that way it'll be easier to maintain.anyway, i was wondering, how long after will i see results if i run for 2 miles 6 times a week?my daily food schedule is something like this 7am egg or fruit 9am in school 130 calorie vanilla milk 8 oz 2pm salad, beans, with meat sometimes5pm cup of tea or coffee7 pm cereal or sometimes i skip dinner because im too busy or full.do you think if i eat this way run 2m per day i'll lose weight?also how long would it take? My goal is 115 120 so far.

I want to lose weight to look better and get healthy. I'm out of shape, and I'm motivated to do better. I've always been self conscious, but now I really want to do something about it.I'm a 15 year old girl in my freshman year of high school. I am 5 foot 6 inches and 200 pounds yeah, fat American jokes, I know .I just started a new semester at school, so I was moved a lot in my schedule, including my PE class. We do jogging, Pilates, yoga, some small stretches with 5 pound weights, lunges, those giant blow up workout balls, and other stuff that was just the first day .So I want to lose weight.But because I'm so self conscious, I don't want to have to tell my family. So I have to eat normal meals, and can't just randomly go for a run. What are small weight loss tips that are effective that aren't too obvious?

You supposedly just " sprinkle and eat" my theory is that it makes food taste terrible so you don't WANT to eat as much. thoughts?

I've worked in office 2 yrs gained over 80 lbs I decided transfer to whse floor and work a position where I have to keep moving back and fourth and climb 20 steps up and down over 16 times a day how long untill I see a diff I sweat bad everyday

Hi I am 162cm 5'3.Last year I started out weighing 45kg 99.2lbs and was diagnosed with cancer after putting on a lot of weight Right now I am 65kg 143.3lbs and I REALLY want to lose a fair bit of weight before my birthday Feb 24 I have been eating under 1000 calories and doing about 10 20 minutes of exercise daily, but I'm still the same weight I was when I finished chemo in November.Right now I fit into a size 12 and was hoping to fit into a big 8 small 10. Healthy or not, I don't care no judgement, please Does anyone have any tips for how I could lose a bit of weight so I could fit into some cute clothes??I would really appreciate ANY guidance.I drink 2L of water every day I eat a lot of salad and white meat. I haven't had any soft drinks since last year.and I do lots of different types of exercise rapid jump rope, star jumps, lunges, planks, push ups and sit ups. I also go for hour long walks and have been really pushing myself. Nothing seems to be working Thanks for your concern Mike It's really nice of you but I just cannot stand the way I look and I really want to get out and just get back to my normal life I was sick all last year and quite frankly, I'm sick of it. P
Should i go for weight loss?
i am 18 and weigh 17st 6 pounds but i am not what you'd call fat. there is however areas where i could do with either losing a few pounds or else turn it to muscle. i was wondering which would be better and if so any supplements ye think i should use. any help would be great. im the one in the grey suit on the left and im 6ft.
