What type of cardio can I do besides running/walking to lose weight?
I am currently on a food and exercise program. I have lost 45lbs so far and would like to lose another 45 50. I walk run everyday, but my knee no longer wants to cooperate. The doctors are telling me no more running but I still need to do cardio. Other than bike riding, does anyone know what else I can do to keep losing weight?
Exercising by only using jump rope and walking to lose weight?
Would this be effective? It's just the only two exercises I am entirely comfortable with. I am trying to lose around 20 pounds by October, because I will be a bridesmaid for my sister's wedding and I would like to look good. If you could include an amount for the exercise, that would be great too. i.e., walk for 30 minutes twice a day for three times a week jump rope for 45 minutes once a day twice a week, etc. Thanks in advance

I am 16, 5'8, and 240 pounds. I really want to lose about 100 pounds. Right now I am walking for about an hour a day around my neighborhood. There is a loop that I follow and because I live in the mountains there is a lot of variation in the incline and decline. How many miles a day should I walk to lose weight quickly? And also what diet changes should I make? I only drink water which is good and I take a multivitamin, but what other advice can you give? Like how much protein and carbs I should eat, etc.Any advice you can give would be much appreciated.
