What weight loss workouts are good at the gym?
at the moment I'm doing a lot of CV excersises like crosstrainer, treadmill, rowing, spinning etc. I only do weights once or twice a week. Am I doing enough to lose weight efficiantly or should I be doing more? A typical work out goes something like this 15 min crosstrainer10 min rowing.10 min treadmil5 min bikingstreatching excersises5 min stair machine.Consider that I've only just started back at the gym and am getting my fitness level up. Is what I'm doing good for losing lots of weight?

Does this sound like a good weight loss workout?
I normally spend 2 hours in the gym 3 days a week.First I walk on the treadmil for about 10 minutes sometimes 20 with 2 to 3 minutes running inbetween.Then I do this bike arm machine the one that moves your arms and legs at the same time you peddle for about 10 minutes.I do the ellipticals for 3 to 5 minutes, sometimes Im able to go near 10 minutes.Then I repeat all these things listed above 2 or 3 more times.Next I walk over to the weight lifting area and do the inner thigh machine using 2lb weights. 50 times or more.Then I go use the outer thigh machine using 3lb weights about 50 times or more.Then I do some squats while raising a 3lb ball about 20 times or more.Then the abs machine 60lbs about 100 times or for 5 minutes.Then I repeat everything all over again.Sometimes I end with a 20 minute walk on the treadmil or go do some arm machine exercises then I sit in the sauna for 30 minutes and walk home. I walk alot when I cant go to the gym.
Weight loss & workout tips?
Hi, I have struggled with my weight all my life. I believe I am becoming obese, not just overweight. I am a girl, weigh 140 pounds, am around 5'1 or 5'2, and am 13 almost 14 years old.Long story short, I need to lose weight.I will probably start this this Saturday, February 20th. This will last at least 5 months, maybe even more.Please give me some tips for the entire plan, and also some workout routines I should focus on.Thanks
Weight loss/workout help!?!?!?
Ok. I have been working out now for two months. I have quickly lost 20 lbs, but that is probably because I was over weight. Now things are starting to slow down. I have been eating about 1500 to 1600 calories a day, and working out for anywhere between 1 hour to 2 hours a day 6 days a week. I want to lose another 20 lbs, and I have about four weeks to really focus on it while I am on a break from school. I know that I can not lose 20 lbs in 4 weeks, but I wanted to put myself through a kind of boot camp while I have the time on my hands. My husband is deployed, and I have nothing else to do . So here is my question. Is working out 3 to 4 hours a day too much? and if so do I need to increase my calorie intake, or is that counter productive? I am really trying to get into shape and maintain it, not just lose weight and yo yo diet. I dont want it coming back I am 5'7'' and currently weigh 184. I want to weigh about 155 165. Any workout suggestions, or diet suggestions would be appreciated
